- BB&T Bank to make a major investment. Under the leadership of Luis Lobo president, Washington metropolitan region and Thomas Ransom, Senior Vice President, BB&T and other bank staffers will invest in the most valuable "commodity" in our community - Children. Hearts & Homes for Youth provides what every child deserves; a Home and a Family. BB&T Bank will engage in a TV style "makeover" of one of these homes, the John C. Tracey Boys Group Home in Rockville, Maryland on August 28, 2010. The Montgomery County bankers are a part of the community and want to make it a better place in which to live and work. Hearts & Homes for youth, originally as Boy's Home of MontgomeryCounty, begans its long history of helping youth in need in February, 1964.
