Program Manager – Full time
Oversees the daily operation of the group homes assigned located in the Montgomery County areas. Coordinates services for youth with Placing Agents, family court, school, employer, Social Worker and other involved person by the way of intake, treatment plan, Case Manager assignment and supervision, grade and school placement, preparation and advocacy in courtroom, job training and monitoring, family program participation, clinical observations and feedback to and from Social Worker. Must have strong organizational, writing, problem solving skills, and must have experience working with adolescents and/or youth. Minimum BA + 2 years supervisory experience.
Senior Counselors – Full time
Senior Counselors train and supervise counselors at an assigned location. Under the direction of the Program Manager, maintain childcare standards which support the high quality of services provided by the agency. Provide on-call services 24 hours a day for emergency support at assigned home. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience working with youth in a residential setting or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills and flexibility are a must. Supervisory experience is highly preferred. Current opportunities exist in northern Montgomery County.
Counselors – Full time and Part time Positions
Counselors are directly responsible for the welfare of our youth, performing parental care and behavior management functions, and actively participating on a Treatment Team of Placing Agents, Social Workers, Program Coordinator, teachers, family and other counselors. Maintain a clean and attractive home and a safe and supportive environment; teach hygiene practices and good interpersonal relationships; enforce rules and apply discipline within prescribed limits; ensure residents receive clothing and proper nutrition and healthcare; perform necessary administrative duties and transport children when required. Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and experience working with youth. Must be flexible and have a strong commitment to the welfare of youth. Locations include Montgomery, Prince George’s and Anne Arundel Counties.
