Help us fulfill our dream of giving  troubled, abused, and neglected youth a joyous holiday season  filled with reminders of the community that cares about them.

Home for the holidays.  For many of us, these words conjure up warm memories of time spent with loved ones.  Sadly, for many of our children, this is not the case.
Often troubled, abused, and neglected, they come to us for a safe, nurturing home.  And we welcome them with open arms.

As the holiday season approaches, we want to make sure it's a special one for our children in their new home with us.  So, please help us fulfill our dream of giving them the joyous celebration that they so deserve - one filled with reminders of the community that cares about them.  

And that community is you!  With your generous support, we can make this dream a reality. 

If you could become a part of our Wish Maker team this year, we would be most appreciative.  Some people adopt one child, while some groups adopt an entire household full of children.  We have a list of wishes for each child and will send you the name, age, and wishes of the child you choose to help.
   
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to create new holiday memories for our children to cherish!

How It works

Call Jane Debenham at 301-589-8444 ext. 206 if you would like to be a Wish Maker.  We can arrange pick-up of the gift donations.

Please do not feel obligated to fulfill the entire wish list.  We only ask you do what you can to HELP fulfill the children's wish lists.

Please send all donations UNWRAPPED.  You may use gift bags, and all donations of gift wrapping are greatly appreciated.

Please label EACH gift with child's name and/or program name if giving to a specific program.

Please label ALL gifts with your name and address, so we know whom to thank!
If bundling gifts into boxes or plastic bags, you can just use one label for all.

If you are donating gift certificates, please put them in a sealed envelope separate from the gift you may give to a child.

If delivering gifts, please deliver to:  HHY, 1320 Fenwick Lane, Suite 800, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

All donations should be received by Monday, December 17th.  If this is not possible, please call.
