I am pleased to announce the appointment of Tammy O’Rourke to the position of Executive Vice-President of Hearts & Homes for Youth, Inc.
This is a new position in the agency, reporting directly to the CEO and with authority and responsibility over all operational functions of HHY.
Tammy O’Rourke is uniquely qualified for this position. During her ten years with the agency Ms. O’Rourke has demonstrated a highly professional acuity for program operations and the “business” aspects of a non-profit corporation.
Most importantly, Ms. O’Rourke possesses the Leadership requirements of top management. Her skills, capacities and moreover, her intelligent passion have won her accolades from her peers within Hearts & Homes as well as from other individuals and agencies upon whom we depend.
Ms. O’Rourke enjoys an extraordinary reputation among, the respect of, those critical to our vision and mission with whom we work on a daily or routine basis – a very real plus for Hearts & Homes for Youth, of no small import to our future success.
In now, nearly 50 years, in the ‘business’ of youth work at all levels in the public and private sectors I can count on one hand those whose personal and professional devotion to kids has been so coupled with leadership/administrative capacities, intelligence and integrity as those of Tammy Marie O’Rourke.
