meaning a “Beautiful Vision”, is a foster care and independent living
preparation program for pregnant and parenting adolescent mothers ages 16-20
who are in the Foster Care System or Department of Juvenile

Parenting and Independent Living preparation
To further
prepare our youth for independent living we provide 25 weeks of parenting
classes (using the Make Parenting A Pleasure curriculum) and life
skills classes (using the Casey Life Skills curriculum). During
these classes youth receive training in such areas as parenting, pregnancy
prevention, developmental stages, stress management, anger management,
discipline, communication, money management, household management, health,
hygiene, employment preparedness, community resources…and more.
